South Sudan undertakes reshuffles at diplomatic missions

South Sudan has undertaken a reshuffle at its diplomatic missions, recalling back several ambassadors and instituting their replacements.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced the reshuffles on Friday noting that it was in line with President Salva Kiir’s directives.

Thirteen missions including in Germany, Italy, France, Belgium, Switzerland, Norway, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, India, Tanzania, Zimbabwe, Eritrea, and Nigeria were affected in the exercise.

The ambassadors recalled include Amb. Ajiing Adiang Marik from Italy, Amb. Lazarus Akoi  from France, Amb. Dr. Mawien Makol Arik from Switzerland, Amb. Majak Philemon Majok from Norway, Amb. Mohamed Hassan Bakheit from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Amb. Deng Deng Nhial from the United Arab Emirates and Amb. Daniel Peter Othol from India.

Others included Amb. Mariano Deng Ngor from Tanzania, Amb. Gabriel Gai Riak from Zimbabwe, Amb. Malek Ruben Riak from Eritrea and Amb. Paul Molong Akaro from Nigeria

Their replacements include Amb. DhanoJak Obongo to Italy, Amb. Samuel Luate Lominsuk to Belgium, Amb. Alier Deng Ruai to Switzerland, Amb. Michael Milli Hussein to France, Amb. Johnson Okot Jekery to Tanzania, Amb. Mawien Makol Ariik to Germany and Amb. Mustafa Lowo Jabi to Norway.

Others are Amb. Malek Reuben Riak to Zimbabwe, Amb. David Buom Choat to Nigeria, Amb. Victoria Samuel Aru to India, Amb. Garang Garang Diing to the United Arab Emirates, Amb. Mary Babodo Francis to Eritrea and Amb. John Samuel Bogo to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
