Ezra donates medicines, equipment to Al Sabbah Children’s Hospital

Ezra Group has donated medicines and health equipment to Al Sabbah Children’s Hospital in Juba.

The donation to the children’s hospital came ahead of the Easter holiday.

Daniel Deng Simon, Ezra Group accountant said that the donation symbolizes Ezra Group’s commitment to supporting women and children in South Sudan.

“The Ezra Group is a family company, so women and children are at the heart of everything we do – which is why this donation is so meaningful. We believe in helping those who need it – as we are all in this together,” Deng said during the handover ceremony at Al Sabbah Children’s Hospital in Juba on Wednesday.

“It is through standing by each other and helping the most vulnerable in our society, that we will all grow and make the world a better place. We hope that this donation can bring a smile to these children and help them feel a little bit better,” Deng said.

The equipment donated includes 20 thermometers, an oxygen regulator machine, a suction machine, a baby blood pressure machine, a baby weighing scale 10 paediatric stethoscopes, assorted syringes in various sizes, vitamins and medication and various tubing sizes.

It also includes baby’s milk, nappies, wet wipes, a special gift box with baby toiletries, a baby net, a bedsheet, some socks and clothing. 

The Deputy Executive Director for the Al Sabbah Children’s Hospital, Dr Felix Nyungura appreciated the Ezra Group for their generosity and support to Children’s Hospital.

 “On behalf of the hospital and all the staff, we want to say thank you to the Ezra Group. We are very happy to receive your donation, the hospital had run out of some items and so we really do appreciate Ezra giving us these much-needed necessities,” Dr Nyungura said.
