Central Equatoria State’s Information Minister suspended

The governor of Central Equatoria State has issued an order number 19/2021 indefinitely suspending the Minister of Information and Communication.

Mr. Paulino Lukudu Obede was appointed in late February as the Central Equatoria State’s Minister of Information.

Mr. Lukudu was under the ticket of the Other Political Parties (OPP) being led by Peter Mayen Majongdit, the national Minister of Humanitarian Affairs and Disaster Management.

The reason for the suspension of the minister has not been given.
